| Dr. John Dentico is the President/Principal of LeadSimm® a leadership development, strategy and experiential learning practice. He is an internationally and nationally recognized expert and pioneer in the areas of leadership, learning and simulations. He is the creator of the LeadSimm® Leadership Development Simulation method with over 34 years of experience in the design, development and implementation of simulations ranging from computer based to people powered, table top exercises. LeadSimm® is a multi-episode, people powered simulation learning experience that accelerates the development of collaborative leadership practice and emotional intelligence at the same time it gives participants an opportunity to practice leadership in a realistic enviornment. In April 2010, Dr. Dentico was selected by the Graduate School, USDA as the subject matter expert in leadership to conduct a comprehensive review of their daytime and distance education Executive-Management-Supervisor (EMS) curriculum. The Graduate School, USDA trains over 200,000 people annually, with some 30,000 attending the EMS courses. The review covered 29 different courses and provided detailed recommendations for transforming the current curriculum to 21st Century leadership models, principles and practices. In 2008 Dr. John Dentico was selected by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) as the lead subject matter expert in leadership to serve on their 12 member “blue ribbon” panel revising the content outline and all the leadership content for the International Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification program. His effort resulted in the complete revision of the CPLP leadership content. John holds a doctorate in leadership studies from the University of San Diego. | ||||||||
